ATA103 Spec 103 Definition

ATA103, also known as “Standard for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports,”. Is a document that provides guidance for the safe storage and distribution of jet fuel at airports. The industry currently practices this standard in the commercial aviation industry. It includes forms that can record performance of tests and inspections. The 2023.1 revision includes extensive revisions to the document. They have updated the document to include the JF-WA1 Hydro-Light ASTM Test Method D3240. This is used to determine the amount of free water in jet fuel. Now the Water Separation Instrument (WSI) using ASTM D8073 is in the document. The document constantly updates to meet the changing needs of the industry via an online system. This system can request and track changes. The latest revision, ATA Spec 103, published in 2023.
